1. At what age can I get pierced?
Age requirements depend on the type of piercing. Valid government-issued ID is always required.
For minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present and provide written consent.
Age guidelines:
-
Ages 4–11: Earlobe piercings only
-
Ages 12–14: Helix piercings (outer ear cartilage)
-
Ages 14–16: All ear piercings and nostril piercings
-
Ages 16–17: Navel, facial, and oral piercings
-
18 years and older: Nipple piercings, intimate piercings, and microdermals
Please note: all piercings are performed at the piercer’s discretion and may be refused if the anatomy, consent, or circumstances are not suitable.
2. How do I take care of my piercing?
After your piercing, you will receive:
-
A verbal aftercare explanation
-
A detailed aftercare leaflet (available in Dutch, English, or French)
-
A small aftercare package
A simplified aftercare guide and additional tips are also available on the website.
Following aftercare instructions carefully is essential for proper healing.
3. How can I pay?
Booking deposits are paid online during the booking process.
The remaining balance is payable at your appointment.
Cash is preferred. Bancontact is also accepted.
4. Can I come by anytime for a piercing?
No. Piercings are by appointment only.
I am available on Saturdays, so booking in advance is strongly recommended to secure your spot.
Appointments can be made via the online booking system or by contacting me on WhatsApp at +32 470 04 91 18.
5. Can I bring my own jewelry?
No. I do not install jewelry purchased elsewhere.
I only work with jewelry from my own stock so I can guarantee:
-
Material quality
-
Proper polish
-
Safety and suitability for initial piercings
This is essential for safe healing.
6. What happens if I don’t come to my appointment?
Appointments are reserved specifically for you and require preparation time.
-
Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours in advance
-
Late cancellations or no-shows result in loss of the booking deposit
-
Deposits are non-refundable and may be transferred once with sufficient notice
A 10-minute grace period applies.
Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your appointment being shortened or cancelled, with the deposit forfeited.
Piercing appointments are booked for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow for consultation, anatomy checks, safe piercing, and proper aftercare guidance. Late arrivals do not allow enough time to provide this service safely.
Thank you for respecting the time and care that goes into every appointment.
7. What material is your jewelry made of?
All jewelry is implant-grade titanium (ASTM F-136).
This material is:
-
Hypoallergenic
-
Nickel-free
-
Suitable for initial piercings
As someone who is highly sensitive to nickel, steel, and unknown alloys, I find it extremely important to work only with materials that are safe and biocompatible.
8. I don’t see the jewelry I like — can you order something for me?
Yes, absolutely.
If you have a specific piece in mind, feel free to get in touch and:
-
Describe what you’re looking for, or
-
Share a reference image
We’ll explore safe, high-quality options together. Please note that not all jewelry on the market is suitable for piercings — if the material is not clearly specified, it’s best to avoid it.
If you’d like guidance or advice, consultations are available.
9. Does getting pierced hurt?
Pain is subjective and varies from person to person and piercing type. Most piercings are quick, and while you may feel a sharp sensation or pressure, it usually lasts only a moment. I will always explain what to expect and make sure you are comfortable before proceeding.
10. How long does healing take?
Healing times vary depending on the piercing, your body, and how well aftercare instructions are followed. Initial healing can take several weeks, while full healing may take several months. During your appointment, I will give you specific aftercare guidance for your piercing.
